Description of the campsite
Campingplatz Großes Meer puts the East Frisian lake within easy reach in Südbrookmerland, in Lower Saxony. It lies by the Großes Meer, the largest inland lake in the area, among trees and hedges. You can go out in a canoe, sail, surf or paddle, sunbathe on the swimming beach or follow the «3-Meere-Weg» route, on foot or by bike. The paddle and pedal station rents canoes, pedal boats and bicycles. There is a sauna in a red wooden hut, and from April to October a baker's cart comes by with bread and rolls. Dogs are allowed. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
