Description of the campsite
The village of Esparron-de-Verdon looks directly out over the lake of the same name, with narrow stone streets that go down to a small marina where sailing boats and canoes moor in the summer months. Camping Le Soleil offers a simple proposition beside this same lake: a bar for light meals, barbecues on the pitches, a playground for families and wifi available on site. Lake Esparron, with turquoise waters thanks to the limestone rock of the surroundings, is one of the most prized in the chain of Verdon reservoirs for swimming and non-motorised water sports. From here it is also easy to reach the Gorges du Verdon. The campsite operates in season.
