Villecroze has a waterfall that springs from a natural cave right in the village, in the Provençal Haut-Var, a land of limestone hills and holm oak woods that serves as a gateway to the Verdon Gorges. Camping Le Ruou offers bungalows with a pool and a takeaway food service, plus wifi throughout the site, in a quiet setting away from the bustle of the French Riviera. It is a simple base for exploring the stone villages of the Haut-Var and the routes towards the Verdon. The campsite is open from 11 April to 10 October.
