Hyères looks out over the bay of the same name from the Giens peninsula, that strip of land that connects with the island by two sand bars and from which the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros can be seen. Camping La Bergerie Plage is set beside the coast with air conditioning and bungalows, in a naturist atmosphere that characterises this particular part of the beach. Takeaway food is available for evenings when you do not want to cook, and the playground keeps the little ones busy in the family areas. Dogs are allowed, and there is television in the common areas. The spa offers a calm end to the day after the beach.
