Description of the campsite
Camping du Lac occupies a site in Eygliers, in the Hautes-Alpes department, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, close to the beach, in the upper Durance valley, near the fortress of Mont-Dauphin. It is a seasonal campsite with bungalow accommodation, fishing, pétanque and a restaurant, as well as hiking. The fortress of Mont-Dauphin, the work of the engineer Vauban, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and dominates the landscape of the upper Durance valley. Its Alpine and river surroundings invite fishing and hiking in the upper Durance valley, among the mountains of the Queyras and the Écrins.
