Aiguines crowns a promontory overlooking the turquoise of Lake Sainte-Croix and the mouth of the Verdon Gorges, a natural viewpoint also famous for its tradition of crafting inlaid wooden pétanque balls. Camping de l'Aigle makes the most of that landscape with a jacuzzi and a restaurant to recharge after exploring the trails that descend towards the canyon from the village itself. The glamping tents and bungalows provide a place to stay for those without their own gear, and a table tennis court livens up the afternoons next to the barbecue area, under a sky especially free of light pollution.
