Description of the campsite
Cap Taillat closes off the Saint-Tropez peninsula to the south with a tongue of unspoilt sand protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral, a deliberate contrast to the more worldly atmosphere of Pampelonne, a little further north on the same peninsula. Camping Cap Taillat, which takes its name from that wild beach, offers a pool, a gym and a spa for resting after walks along the coastal path that leads to the cape itself. It is an area appreciated by those looking for a different Saint-Tropez from the one of boutiques and yachts, closer to nature and to the pine woods that run down to low cliffs. The coastal path linking Ramatuelle with Cap Taillat is one of the most beautiful on the Var coast.
