Here the draw is the sea water: Camping Le Moulin de l'Eclis gives direct access to Pont Mahé beach, in Assérac, a place nicknamed the "Mediterranean of the West" for its exceptionally mild temperature. It is open from early April to late September, with 131 rental accommodations and 41 pitches, and carries the Clef Verte eco-responsible campsite label. On the beach itself the PlaisirKite school gives kite lessons; the water area adds slides to ride down on a float, a jacuzzi and a counter-current river, and there are a sauna and a hydromassage pool with jets. Children have free workshops and a play area. Guérande and La Baule are 25 minutes away, and the Guérande salt pans 20, all in Loire-Atlantique.
