Description of the campsite
Jard-sur-Mer alternates sandy beaches with small rocky coves in the south of the Vendée, very close to Saint-Vincent-sur-Jard, where Georges Clemenceau spent his last years in a house now turned into a museum facing the sea. Le Curty's Camping has a wide range of facilities: a bar, barbecue areas, bungalows, takeaway food, pétanque, indoor and outdoor pools, a restaurant, television and wifi, and it accepts pets. It is a very complete base for exploring this Vendée coast, less crowded than Les Sables-d'Olonne, with low cliffs and hidden beaches. It is better to check the season's opening dates with the campsite itself before travelling.
