Description of the campsite
Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez gathers several kilometres of fine-sand beach in the Vendée, with the Barre-de-Monts lighthouse on one side and the Pège pine forest as a natural boundary between the dunes and the farming interior. Camping Les Écureuils is all about full holidays: bungalows, a bar, a restaurant and takeaway food, with a children's playground, pétanque and tennis, plus a sauna and spa for relaxing, and wifi throughout the site for those who don't want to disconnect. The beach is very close to the campsite, ideal for spending the day swimming and playing sports. It is a solid family base on one of the most popular stretches of the Vendée coast. The campsite operates throughout the summer season; even so, it is worth reconfirming the dates before travelling.
