Description of the campsite
Sea, lagoon and salt flats surround Camping La Petite Camargue, a 5-star campsite in Aigues-Mortes, in the Gard, on the shores of the Mediterranean. Children have an animal park with geese, ducks, dwarf goats, fallow deer and llamas, and along the path leading to it you can see pink flamingos. The 1,000 m² water area is heated and adds a giant jacuzzi and three slides, one of them a 4-lane pentaglisse. In July and August a free bus runs to the beaches of Le Grau-du-Roi, and there is also a wild beach of 18 km of fine sand, a classified natural site since 1998. It is best to check the opening dates with the campsite.
