Belmont-sur-Rance rises on the banks of the River Rance, in the south of the Aveyron, very close to the border with the Tarn and the Sidobre granite massif. Camping Vert Lavande has a bar, barbecues, bungalows, glamping, a tennis court, television and wifi, in a setting of wooded hills little visited by travellers. The clear-watered river invites swimming in summer, while the granite rocks of the neighbouring Sidobre offer walks among curious formations.
