Nant, in the heart of the Parc naturel régional des Grands Causses, shares with the Dourbie a deep valley carved between the Causse du Larzac and the Causse Noir (limestone plateaus), with limestone crags that recall ruined cities. Camping RCN Val de Cantobre sits in this canyon with a billiards table, bungalows and a swimming pool, accepts pets and offers hiking trails to Cantobre itself, a village literally suspended over the rock, as well as a spa for relaxing. It is a distinctive base for discovering the Larzac (a causse, or limestone plateau) and its transhumant grazing landscapes. As this is a seasonal campsite, it is best to confirm the exact opening dates before planning your trip.
