Rocamadour clings literally to a cliff, with its medieval sanctuary rising in tiers above the void in one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in France. Camping Padimadour has a bar, bungalows, takeaway food, an outdoor and an indoor pool, a restaurant and a spa, in a setting of causses (limestone plateaus) and holm oak woods typical of the Quercy. Climbing the sanctuary steps on foot or exploring the nearby Alzou canyon are the essential excursions from the campsite.
