Description of the campsite
Camping municipal du Gilliaou is in Pont de Montvert - Sud Mont Lozère, in the Lozère department of the Occitanie region, in the heart of the Mont Lozère massif, beside a river and close to a natural park. It is a seasonal municipal campsite with a restaurant and bungalow accommodation, plus barbecues, with glamping options. It has a playground, fishing, pétanque, a table tennis table and hiking, as well as a laundry. It offers electrical hook-up, a motorhome service point, toilets and wifi, allows dogs and has facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility, with shaded pitches. Its high-mountain setting, in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, invites long hikes and discovering the Camisard history of the region.
