Description of the campsite
Palavas-les-Flots is Montpellier's historic beach resort, a strip of sand between the Mediterranean and the Étang du Méjean lagoon, where the people of Montpellier have come since the 19th century, with its lighthouse and lively seafront promenade. Camping Les Roquilles stands very close to that coastline, with air conditioning and bungalows for the Languedoc heat, a pool, pétanque and a restaurant for everyday meals, and a supermarket so you need not travel far. From here it is a short trip to Montpellier, La Grande Motte and the salt pans of Aigues-Mortes. Please check the season's opening dates with the campsite before travelling.
