Mostuéjouls watches over the Tarn valley just where the river makes its way between the causses (limestone plateaus) of Sauveterre and Méjean, in one of the most spectacular stretches of the Tarn gorges, famous for canoeing and its sheer limestone walls. Camping Les Bords du Tarn offers bungalows with a pool and a fishing area by the river, as well as a spa for rest and hiking routes that climb towards the neighbouring plateaus. The Tarn river beach is at the foot of the site, ideal for cooling off after walks. It is a classic base for exploring the Tarn gorges and the neighbouring Causse Méjean (limestone plateau) without moving around much. The season is under way, although before booking it is best to confirm the exact dates with the campsite.
