Description of the campsite
Campouriez looks out over the Aubrac from the north of the Aveyron, a high plateau of volcanic pastures, cows of a native breed and stone burons (shepherds' huts) that fills with wild flowers in summer and with snow and silence in winter. Camping Le Lauradiol offers bungalows and glamping tents, with a swimming pool, a playground, pétanque and a fishing area, as well as hiking routes that climb towards the plateau. There is also a tennis court for days without a route. It is a quiet base for discovering the less touristy Aubrac, away from the Camino de Santiago routes that cross the area. The campsite operates without closures throughout the season; even so, it is advisable to check the exact dates with the site.
