Camping Le Domaine de la Paille Basse is in Souillac, in the Lot département, Occitanie region, on the banks of the Dordogne river, the gateway to the Périgord Noir and the Quercy, near Sarlat and Rocamadour. It is a seasonal campsite with a swimming pool, bungalow accommodation and glamping, as well as pétanque and tennis, and it has a bar, takeaway food, a restaurant, a supermarket, barbecues and television, and dogs are allowed. The setting of causses (limestone plateaus) and Quercy woodland is ideal for hiking around Souillac and discovering the golden-stone villages on the way to Rocamadour.
