Camping Le Castel Rose is in Anduze, in the Gard department of the Occitanie region, on the banks of the Gardon, at the so-called gateway to the Cévennes, near the Bambuseraie, one of the largest bamboo gardens in Europe. It is a campsite with a bar and bungalow accommodation, as well as takeaway food and fishing, and offers a nearby beach, a swimming pool, a restaurant, signposted hiking trails, a supermarket, TV and wifi. Dogs are allowed. Its surroundings of gorges and Cévennes chestnut groves invite swimming in the clear waters of the Gardon, hiking to the mountain villages and discovering the little Cévennes steam train that leaves from Anduze.
