Camping La Sapinette is in Quillan, in the Aude department of the Occitanie region, in the upper Aude valley, in the mountains, at the gateway to Cathar country and the Pyrenees. It is a seasonal campsite with a pool and a restaurant, as well as accommodation in bungalows and a bar, and it offers fishing, pétanque, toilets, a chemical toilet disposal point, electricity, a motorhome service point and wifi. Its riverside and mountain setting, among the River Aude, the forests and the Pyrenean foothills, invites walks along the valley, rafting or canoeing and exploring the nearby Cathar castles of Puivert and Peyrepertuse in the height of summer, beside the water and the mountains of the south of the region.
