In Argelès-sur-Mer, the coastal road separates the long sandy beach of the Côte Vermeille from the campsite areas that follow one another towards the south, with the Albères massif always looming behind towards the Catalan border. Camping Équinoxe has bungalows, a playground, a pool and a restaurant, with direct access to the sand. Collioure, with its royal castle and its Catalan boats pulled up on the shore, is a short distance away along the coast. Before booking, it is advisable to check the season's opening dates directly with the campsite.
