Description of the campsite
Camping des Cèpes is in La Salvetat-sur-Agout, a mountain village in the Monts de Lacaune, within the Haut-Languedoc regional nature park, famous for the mineral water that bears its name and that rises in these beech and chestnut forests. The Agout river, which gives the area its name, has its source here, among pine woods and high pastures very different from the Mediterranean that can be sensed further south. The campsite offers bungalows for those without a tent and hiking along the paths that climb towards the massif. As the season status is not yet confirmed, it is best to ask directly about the opening dates before planning your visit.
