Description of the campsite
Lourdes welcomes millions of pilgrims every year to its Marian shrine, but it is also a gateway to the Hautes-Pyrénées, with the Argelès-Gazost valley and the great mountain passes a short distance from the town itself. Camping de la Forêt has bungalows and glamping tents, with a bar and a restaurant, as well as a playground, a pool and a spa for relaxing after visits to the shrine or mountain routes. There is wifi throughout the site. It is a comfortable base for both religious tourism and Pyrenean hiking, combining two different faces of the same area. The campsite is open without a break during the season, although it is best to check the exact dates in advance.
