Description of the campsite
Amélie-les-Bains-Palalda has lived from thermal spas since Roman times, in the Tech valley, in the heart of the French Catalan Vallespir, with the first foothills of the Canigou rising to the south of the village. Camping Amélia offers bungalows with a playground, plus television in the accommodation, and wifi throughout the site. Dogs are accepted. It is a convenient base for combining thermal spas, hiking in the Vallespir and visits to the Catalan villages of inland Roussillon, away from the bustle of the coast in high summer. The campsite is active throughout the season, although it is advisable to reconfirm the exact dates.
