Description of the campsite
One foot in the Atlantic and the other in the Landes pine forest: that is Camping du Truc Vert, in ten hectares of woodland 300 m from the beaches and 5 km from the Arcachon basin. The pines shade spacious pitches, with one area for caravans, motorhomes and tents and another with furnished tents for rent, including a Decathlon Quechua. The surroundings offer sun, family-friendly beaches and views of the Dune du Pilat. There is a bar, a snack bar, a spa, pétanque, a playground and bike hire; the children's workshops and activities are for ages 5 and up. The campsite is in Lège-Cap-Ferret, in the Gironde, and is open from April to the end of October.
