Description of the campsite
On the Île de Ré, Camping et Hôtel Les Grenettes (Sandaya) combines a 5-star campsite and a 4-star hotel, spread over seven hectares between the ocean and the pine grove. Les Grenettes beach is 250 metres away, and the rest of the day is divided between two heated outdoor pools, a jacuzzi and the children's pool. Children and teenagers aged 5 to 17 have free clubs, and the island offers some 100 km of cycle paths that can be explored with the bicycles rented on site. There are a bar, a restaurant, a supermarket, 163 cottage-style accommodations and 16 pitches. It is in Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, in the Charente-Maritime, and opens from early April to early November.
