Castel Camping du Château de Poinsouze is in Boussac-Bourg, in the Creuse department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, beside a lake, in the heart of the Limousin. Part of the Castel chain, it is a seasonal campsite with an adult pool and a children's pool, as well as a restaurant. It has fishing and takeaway food, and allows dogs. Its lake and rural setting, close to Boussac castle and the triple border of Limousin, Berry and Auvergne, invites walks through the Creuse countryside and trips around nearby George Sand country. It is a practical, well-located base for families exploring the Massif Central in the height of the summer season, beside the water and the heritage of central France.
