La Palmyre brings together in Les Mathes one of the strongest tourist concentrations on the Côte de Beauté, with pine woods running down to fine-sand beaches and the famous zoo as a reference for families in the area. Camping Sandaya L'Estanquet offers bungalows, a bar and a restaurant, with a playground and a swimming pool for the summer, as well as a spa for relaxing after the beach, which is very close to the site. It is a solid family base for exploring the Charente-Maritime coast, between La Rochelle and the mouth of the Gironde, without giving up the comforts of a well-equipped campsite. The campsite operates throughout the season, although it is advisable to reconfirm the exact dates.
