Description of the campsite
Saint-Sulpice-de-Royan is at the gates of Royan, the city rebuilt after the war that today lives off its beaches on the Côte de Beauté, at the mouth of the Gironde. Camping Royal Océan makes the most of this proximity with bungalows, a bar and a restaurant, plus an outdoor pool and an indoor one that let you swim even when the Atlantic is cold. The playground keeps the little ones busy and takeaway food takes care of evenings when you don't feel like cooking. The beach is a short walk away. The campsite is open from 1 April to 30 September; it is best to book well ahead in the summer months.
