Description of the campsite

Pauillac sits in the heart of the wine-growing Médoc, facing the Gironde estuary, in an area whose vineyards produce some of the most renowned red wines in the whole world. Camping Municipal Les Gabarreys, beside the river, offers simple accommodation with facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility, run by the village council itself. The wine châteaux in the surrounding area, some open for guided visits, are a short distance away by car or bike. It is open from 1 April to 13 October, and it is best to book well ahead before planning your visit to this part of the Médoc.
