Description of the campsite
Saint-Georges-d'Oléron occupies the northern end of the Île d'Oléron, with the port of Boyardville as the starting point for seeing Fort Boyard up close, off the coast. Camping Les Saumonards has a fishing area, a restaurant and a tennis court, has a naturist area and is close to the beach. The great pine forests that separate the village from the sea and the fine-sand beaches, among the most extensive on the island, complete the appeal of the area.
