Camping La Cailletière is in Dolus-d'Oléron, in the Charente-Maritime département of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, close to the beach, on the island of Oléron, near Boyardville and the famous Fort Boyard, in the heart of the Charente oyster-farming region. It is a seasonal campsite with a pool, a bar and a restaurant, as well as takeaway food and bungalow accommodation, and it has glamping options and a playground. Dogs are allowed. Its island setting invites fishing beside the oyster-farming harbours of Oléron and viewing Fort Boyard from the coast near Boyardville.
