Description of the campsite
Camping des Bruyères is in Auriac, in the Corrèze department, Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, in the Corrèze Xaintrie, near the Dordogne ravine and the Barrage de l'Aigle, in one of the most secluded areas of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It is a seasonal campsite with bungalow accommodation and fishing available, as well as a nearby beach and signposted hiking trails. Its surroundings of heather woods and Dordogne gorges invite hiking in the Xaintrie, fishing in the waters of the reservoir and the discovery of the volcanic stone villages that dot this isolated area.
