Description of the campsite
Camping de l'Étang is in Le Lindois, in the Charente department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, beside a pond and a bathing beach, in the lakes region of Haute-Charente and the neighbouring Limousin. It is a seasonal campsite with a restaurant, a bar and bungalow accommodation, plus fishing, football, a sports field, pétanque, a table tennis table and a playground, and offers toilets and wifi. There are adaptations for people with reduced mobility. Dogs are allowed and it offers hiking. Its lakeside and forest setting invites walks along the shore and discovery of the villages and rural heritage of eastern Charente in the height of summer, beside the water and the green nature of western France.
