Description of the campsite
Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle spreads across market gardens and green hills of the inland Basque Country, with the Nivelle river marking out the valley on the way to Sare and Ainhoa, two of the prettiest villages of the French Basque area. Camping d'Ibarron offers bungalows and a playground, with a pool, as well as hiking trails towards the nearby hills, with wifi throughout the site. The Nivelle river beach is close to the campsite. It is a quiet base for discovering the inland Basque Country, its farmhouses and its cuisine, far from the coast and from Biarritz. The campsite is open throughout the season; even so, it is advisable to reconfirm the exact dates before travelling.
