Saint-Pair-sur-Mer stretches alongside Granville, on the west coast of the Cotentin, with a wide sandy beach facing the Chausey Islands on the horizon. Camping L'Étoile de Mer has barbecues, bungalows, a playground, a nearby beach and television, in a quiet coastal setting. Dogs are allowed. The old town of Granville, perched on a cliff, and the Chausey archipelago, reachable by boat, complete what this part of Normandy has to offer. It is open in season; checking with the establishment exactly when it opens, before travelling, is advisable.
