Description of the campsite
Le Crotoy looks from the northern shore towards the Bay of Somme, one of the largest estuaries in Europe and a refuge for migratory birds, with the tide setting the rhythm of sandbanks that appear and disappear twice a day. Camping Les Aubépines combines bungalows with a pool, a playground and its own supermarket, as well as a spa for relaxing, and has the beach very close by to make the most of low tide and the sailing-boat excursions typical of the area. It is a good starting point for birdwatching in the Marquenterre reserve or strolling around the old fishermen's quarter of the town. The campsite operates without interruption during the season, although it is best to reconfirm the specific dates before travelling.
