Description of the campsite
Camping La Chênaie is in Laon, in the Aisne department of the Hauts-de-France region, in the heart of the Picardy countryside, at the foot of the walled medieval city of Laon. It is a seasonal campsite with an indoor pool, a bar and bungalow accommodation, plus fishing, pétanque and a bouncy castle, and it offers barbecues, a motorhome service point and a recycling area. It has adaptations for people with reduced mobility and dogs are allowed. Its rural setting invites walks in the countryside and discovering the upper town of Laon, its Gothic cathedral and its ramparts, as well as the villages of the Laonnois.
