Description of the campsite
Sangatte faces the English Channel head-on, with the white cliffs of Cap Blanc-Nez standing out towards Calais and ferry traffic crossing the most famous strait in Europe. Camping du Fort Lapin is set on this stretch of the Opal Coast with bungalows, a bar and table tennis, as well as pétanque for quiet afternoons and wifi to stay connected. Dogs are allowed and there is a nearby beach for resting after walks along the seafront. It is a good stopover for those crossing to England or exploring the Hauts-de-France.
