Description of the campsite

Camping du Château is in Bertangles, in the Somme department of the Hauts-de-France region, near Amiens, beside the château where the famous German aviator known as the Red Baron was buried. It is a seasonal campsite with signposted hiking trails. Its surroundings of Picardy plains and Amiénois forests invite hiking along the country paths of the Somme, a visit to the château of Bertangles and its park, and a trip to Amiens and its famous Gothic cathedral.
