Description of the campsite
Camping L'Île du Rhin is in Biesheim, in the Haut-Rhin department of the Grand Est region, on an island between the arms of the Rhine, facing Germany and close to the Vauban-designed fortress of Neuf-Brisach. It is a campsite with a bar and bungalow accommodation, as well as barbecues, takeaway food and a playground, and it has a restaurant, tennis, television and wifi. It has pétanque and accepts dogs. Its island and river setting invites fishing and hiking along the banks of the Rhine, among canals and Alsatian alluvial forests, very close to Colmar.
