Camping de la Cornée du Der is in Sainte-Marie-du-Lac-Nuisement, in the Marne department, Grand Est region, beside Lake Der, the largest artificial lake in Europe. It is a seasonal campsite with a pool and bungalow accommodation, as well as fishing and hiking, and it offers electrical hook-ups on the pitch, toilets and a motorhome service point. Its lakeside and woodland setting, between the great lake, the oak woods and the bird reserve, invites bike rides along the shore and watching migrating cranes, in the heart of the Champagne humide. It is a practical, well-located base for families from eastern France during the summer season beside the water and the great open spaces of the Der region.
