Serra-di-Ferro looks out over the Gulf of Valinco, in the southwest of Corsica, where the hamlet of Porto Pollo keeps the quiet air of a fishing port surrounded by maquis scrub. Camping L'Oriente offers wifi and is close to the beach, as well as hiking trails through the nearby hills. The gulf, with clear waters and granite hills dropping towards the sea, can also be toured by boat from the small local harbour.
