Cléden-Poher lies in the Poher, the inland area of Finistère around Carhaix, far from the Breton coast, with a landscape of forests and castles little visited by beach tourists. Camping du Moulin Vert, part of the estate of the château de Pratulo, offers billiards, table tennis, tennis and horse riding around the castle, with wifi available, and dogs are allowed. It is a campsite with a different character from the coast: more oriented towards horses and the forest landscape than the sea, in a stately setting unusual among Breton campsites. The Poher also preserves a strong attachment to Celtic music and traditions.
