Locmariaquer, at the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan, holds one of the most important megalithic complexes in Europe, with the broken Great Menhir and the Table des Marchands dolmen as witnesses to an exceptional Neolithic past. Camping de la Tour de Kerinis, a seasonal campsite, has bungalows, glamping accommodation, fishing, hiking and the beach a short distance away. It is a distinctive base for combining prehistoric archaeology with walks around the Gulf of Morbihan, its islands and its traditional oyster farms.
