Description of the campsite
Fifty pitches, almost all shaded, in a natural setting a short walk from the Bois du Parc and its fossilised remains: that is Camping Le Pré du Roi. Two tents and two cabins are available to rent, and you can canoe down the Yonne. The limestone rocks of the Saussois attract climbers, and a short distance away are Vézelay with its basilica, the vineyards of Chablis and the medieval villages of Noyers and Nitry. With a bar, barbecues and a supermarket, country life is comfortable. It is in Mailly-le-Château and is open from June to September.
