Description of the campsite
Camping Municipal Le Parc du Château is in L'Isle-sur-Serein, in the Yonne department of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, beside a river and with shaded pitches, in the heart of the Avallonnais. It is a seasonal municipal campsite with accommodation in bungalows, as well as tennis, fishing, pétanque, a ping-pong table, a sports field and a playground, and it offers barbecues and a laundry. It has baby bath and changing facilities, hot showers, electrical hook-up on the pitch, a motorhome service point, toilets, a chemical toilet disposal point, television and wifi. Dogs and cards are accepted and there are adaptations for people with reduced mobility. Its riverside, rural setting invites walks along the banks of the Serein and discovering the nearby abbey of Vézelay in the height of the summer season, beside the water and the heritage of Burgundy.
