Description of the campsite
Camping Municipal de la Noue Marrou is in Ligny-le-Châtel, in the Yonne department of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, beside a river, in the heart of the Auxerrois countryside, in the Chablis wine country. It is a seasonal municipal campsite with shaded pitches, as well as fishing, pétanque, a table tennis table and a playground, and it has a library, a laundry, dishwashing sinks, electrical hook-up, a motorhome service point and wifi. It has facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility. Dogs are allowed and hiking is available. Its riverside, wine-growing setting invites riverbank walks and visits to the Chablis vineyards and the villages of the Auxerrois in the height of summer, beside the water and the Burgundy heritage of the north.
