Description of the campsite
Camping Les Grands Champs is in Saint-Hippolyte, in the Doubs department of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, beside a river and with shaded pitches, in the heart of the upper Doubs valley. It is a seasonal campsite with a bar and bungalow accommodation, plus a bakery and a fridge, and offers fishing, rafting or canoeing and hiking. It has a common room, toilets and television. The riverside, wooded setting, in the heart of the Jura massif, invites walks along the upper Doubs and exploring the lakes of Saint-Point and the clocks and cheeses of the Franche-Comté region. It is a practical, well-located base for families and motorhome travellers touring the mountains of Franche-Comté in the summer season, surrounded by nature beside the water.
